School's out for a snowday

Snow has a knack for disrupting the natural order of things, doesn't it?

Snow has a knack for disrupting the natural order of things, doesn't it?

District schools are closed today due to the four to seven inches of white stuff that fell overnight. Administrative offices will open two hours late.

Luckily, the snow stopped in time for snow plows to clean up major highways for the morning commute.

But students and faculty - except for principals and assistant principals who are expected to report for work - get an extra day off. To my recollection, this is the second snow day of the school year.

Also cancelled, is the first School Reform Commission meeting for this month.

Stay warm!
