Video: Strong effort puts Flyers back atop NHL

It was certainly a nailbiter, but the Flyers killed off a late penalty and beat the Pittsburgh Penguins, 3-2, at the Wells Fargo Center to re-take the top overall spot in the National Hockey League standings. The Daily News' Frank Seravalli and Philly.com's Dave Isaac break down the win.

Great game last night! It was a shame Nodl and Hartnell missed wide open nets or it would have been even worse for the flightless birds! I am so sick and tired of the NHL, Gary Bettman and ESPN for their completely biased stance on this game. I was watching Sportscenter and saw highlights of the game. They made sure they showed both Malkin goals and only decided to show the game winner by Hartnell. Pathetic! The Flyers have won 3 of 4 from the Pens this year and still get no respect. Lead the NHL in points and the losing team still gets more highlights because they have Bettman's poster child on their team. Give me a break!
