Flyers' national TV schedule set

The Flyers will open the Pittsburgh Penguins' new arena for the season opener on Oct. 7 and do so on national television on Versus.

The Flyers will be on Versus nine times -- the most the Flyers have been on Versus in the network's six seasons -- and are scheduled to be on NBC another five times -- three times against the Rangers and the rematch with the Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks. 

Here are the games on Versus:

Thu., Oct. 7 at Pittsburgh Penguins, 7 p.m.

Thu., Oct. 14 vs. Tampa Bay Lightning, 7 p.m.

Tue., Oct. 26 vs. Buffalo Sabres, 7:30 p.m.

Tue., Nov. 16 at Montreal Canadiens, 7 p.m.

Wed., Dec. 8 vs. San Jose Sharks, 7 p.m.

Tue., Dec. 14 vs. Pittsburgh Penguins, 7 p.m.

Tue., Jan. 11 at Buffalo Sabres, 7:30 p.m.

Tue., Jan. 25 vs. Montreal Canadiens, 7:30 p.m.

Tue., Mar. 22 vs. Washington Capitals, 7:30 p.m.

NBC can change the "Game of the Week" 13 days before the game, so this list is only tentative.

Sun., Jan. 23 at Chicago Blackhawks, 3 p.m.

Sun., Feb. 13 vs. Los Angeles Kings, 7 p.m.

Sun., Feb. 20 at NY Rangers, 3 p.m.
