Not a good start

Whatever momentum the Eagles generated with that scoring drive to end the first half was erased when Ellis Hobbs fumbled the opening kickoff of the second half. The Saints recovered giving the offense wonderful field position.

A few plays later Heath Evans caught a screen pass from Drew Brees and barrelled over Akeem Jordan and into the end zone. Andy Reid challenged the ruling -- he apparently thought Evans stepped out of bounds before he crossed the goal line -- but lost. (Reid through the challenge flag so far that it hit the official in the back.)

So now the Eagles have an 11-point hole to climb out of.
