Union Taco celebrates Memorial Day with milkshake giveaway

In honor of the coming Memorial Day weekend, Union Taco in Manayunk will introduce their new hand-dipped milkshakes with a free giveaway for all customers for a portion of the day.

Folks who head to union taco from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, May 27 will receive a free, 8-ounce cinnamon-vanilla churro milkshake sample for their trouble. The churro shake is one of three being introduced on Friday, with the others being strawberry-vanilla, and chocolate-jalapeño.

All shake flavors will be available in 16-ounce sizes for $5 apiece on May 27 beginning at 5 p.m. Only the churro shake sample will be offered for free prior to that time.

In addition to the three flavors debuting on Friday, Union Taco says Chef Nick Farina will create seasonal specials for his shakes as 2016 advances.

Currently, Farina is working on opening up a Union Taco in Flourtown at the former Flourtown Pizza location on Bethlehem Pike.
