But these days, one of the attractions at Sesame Place in Langhorne, Bucks County, is the food. Management has been ramping up its menu over the current season.
The most respectful line of more healthful selections is aimed at adults and kids, with such choices as a spinach salad with sliced strawberries and feta, a tomato and mozzarella sandwich and salad, a hummus plate and a Southwest chicken salad.
The pricing is not premium. The more healthful food is in line with other park eats - between $7.49 and $8.99.
Though the healthful selections can be found at eateries throughout the park. there's also a dedicated location, Cookie's Sometimes/Anytime Food Market. It resembles an oversized cookie jar and sells grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, fruits, vegetables and drinks.
