Iron Hill medals at Great American Beer Festival for 19th year

Saucony Creek Brewing Co. of Kutztown, Pa., in business just over two years, won a gold.

For the 19th consecutive year, Iron Hill Brewery won at least one medal at the Great American Beer Festival.

Iron Hill won two medals at this year's GABF, and eight other regional breweries came away with prizes.

Saucony Creek Brewing Co. of Kutztown, Pa., in business just over two years, won gold in the Belgian-style fruit beer category for its xReserve Ale 05-15 Peach and Ginger Saison.

Iron Hill won silvers for Russian Imperial Stout (the Media location, despite what the GABF announcement says) and The Cannibal (Chestnut Hill location).

Pottstown's Sly Fox Brewing won a silver in the Belgian- and French-Style ale category for Grisette.

Stoudts Brewing of Adamstown, Pa., won a silver in the Vienna-Style lager category for Oktoberfest - the first GABF medal for Stoudts since 2007.

Spellbound Brewing of Mount Holly, N.J., open not even a year, won silver in wood- and barrel-aged beer for Palo Santo Aged Porter.

Goldencold Lager, from Susquehanna Brewing Co. of Pittston, Pa., won bronze in the Munich-style helles category.

Pack Dog Peanut Butter Ale of Marley's Brewery & Grille in Bloomsburg, Pa., won a bronze for specialty beer.

Flying Fish of Somerdale, N.J., won bronze for RedFish in extra-special bitter.

Wonka Bar, from Mispillion River Brewing of Milford, Del., won a bronze in the chocolate category.
