Iced tea pop-up at Cook
Tea expert Alexis Siemons will offer free sips of freshly brewed iced tea and cold brewed tea over two days.
Tea expert Alexis Siemons, who blogs at teaspoons & petals, will host an iced tea pop-up at Cook, the demo kitchen at 20th and Rittenhouse, from noon to 2 p.m. Aug. 14 and 15.
She'll offer free sips of freshly brewed iced tea and cold brewed tea.
Siemons also will launch the first issue of her self-printed quarterly journal, with tea, which has 11 seasonal tea-infused recipes, photos, and stories.
They're 48 pages, measure 5.5 inches square, and are wrapped in a handkerchief to not only offer sustainable packaging, but to provide an element for an at-home tea ritual. (Siemons often uses vintage handkerchiefs as placemats when serving a cup of tea at home.)
Each journal will be available for purchase for $25 at Cook during the pop-up. Also, Cook will discount all cookbooks and pantry items 25 percent during the pop up.
