Try out Heffe, Fishtown's new taco shop, at a block party

"That Summer Jawn" will be June 27.

Peter McAndrews, who pretty much reinvented the Philly-style Italian sandwich at his Paesano's shops, is about five weeks from opening Heffe, a taco shack at Frankford Avenue and Marlborough Street in Fishtown.

Just so happens that some locals are putting together a block party along Marlborough Street from Belgrade to Frankford (i.e. the 1400 block of Marlborough) from noon to 6 p.m. June 27.

Heffe will do a pop-up tasting at what organizers WooderIce.com and TheresDrinkingToBeDone.com are billing as "That Summer Jawn."
