Get a taste of East Passyunk Restaurant Week

Menus are being released this week.

This is menu-release week.

The specially priced, three-course menus will be available on www.eastpassyunkrestaurantweek.com starting at noon each day on Wednesday, Jan, 27 (for the $15 menus), Thursday, Jan. 28 ($25 menus), and Friday, Jan. 29 ($35 menus).

Menus that will be announced each day include:

Wednesday, January 27 ($15 menus): Adobe Café, Gennaro's Tomato Pie, Marra's, Noir, Palladino's, Plenty, POPE, P'unk Burger, Stogie Joe's

Thursday, January 28 ($25 menus): Bing Bing Dim Sum, Cantina los Caballitos, Mamma Maria Ristorante, Marra's, Plenty, Stogie Joe's

Friday, January 29 ($35 menus): Birra, Brigantessa, Fond, Izumi, Le Virtu, Mamma Maria Ristorante, Noord, Palladino's, Paradiso, Stateside, Townsend, Tre Scalini,

Menu Highlights:

$15 menus

Gennaro's Tomato Pie (1533 S. 11th Street) – Making its EPRW debut, Gennaro's Tomato Pie will offer a $15 three-course menu with Italian favorites, including salads, pizza, pastas, and house-made desserts. Available Sunday and Wednesday through Saturday.

Palladino's (1934 EPA) – For the first time, Palladino's will offer a brunch menu for EPRW, featuring an extensive variety of brunch items, including Ciabatta toast with fig jam, Nutella waffles, Italian Eggs Benedict, and Orange-scented ricotta pancakes. It's also including a selection of desserts, such as house-made gelato and ricotta zeppole, and brunch cocktails for an additional price, including the Italian James Bond, with Reyka Vodka, house blanc vermouth, orange blossom water, and a lemon twist. Brunch will be available Sunday Feb. 21 and Sunday, Feb. 28.

P'unk Burger (1823 EPA) – The burger shop's selection includes the Pesto Caprese Burger, with fresh mozzarella, thick-sliced tomato, pesto and aged balsamic. Pair it with a choice of fries, house-made fried mozzarella, or onion rings, and a choice of three shakes for dessert, including selections from a collaboration with Little Baby's Ice Cream. Available all seven days including late night: Sunday thru Thursday from lunch til 10pm, Friday and Saturday until 3 a.m.

$25 Menus

Plenty (1710 EPA) – Plenty Café has recently revamped its interior, and introduced a new bar area and an extended dinner menu. For EPRW, it's offering three courses, with choices including stuffed mini peppers and vegetarian Moussaka. Dessert brings a sweet Pistachio Torta, paired with Weckerley's ice cream, or a berry Panna Cotta. In addition, the complete EPRW menu will be available for takeout. Available all seven days.

Cantina Los Caballitos (1651 EPA) – The $25 three-course menu includes Shrimp Ceviche and Sopa de Calabaza, with three choices of entrée, from Beef Albondigas to vegan Chorizo Tacos, plus desserts. The EPRW menu will be available Sunday through Thursday.

Bing Bing Dim Sum (1648 EPA) – The first course starts with a choice of house-made dumplings (shrimp, scarlet, or chicken), followed by a cucumber salad or Kung Pao cauliflower. For the entrée, guests can choose among Bing Bing's Short Rib Congee, Crab Fried Rice, or Udon noodles with dragon sauce. The special cocktail is a Sailor Jerry Pina Colada for $6. Available Sunday through Wednesday.

Mamma Maria Ristorante (1627 EPA) – Guests will start their meal with an Italian salad or soup of the day, and have pasta options to choose for entrees, and a dessert. A glass of red or white wine and an after-dinner cordial are on the house. Available Monday through Friday.

$35 Menus

Fond (1537 S. 11th Street) – Start the meal with the classic Chicken Liver Mousse or Wild Boar Pate, and choose from three entrées, including Pork Belly with Okinawan sweet potatoes, escarole, and Dijon jus.  Fond will also offer three EPRW cocktails, including the Junipear Collins with Hendrick's gin, juniper shrub, pear puree, lemon juice and club soda for $6 and the Best in Show with Reyka vodka, grapefruit shrub, rosemary, and Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine for $5. The special menu is available Sunday through Thursday, and the entire table must order the Restaurant Week menu.

Townsend (1623 EPA) – French dishes such as Parsnips Veloute with brown butter chestnuts, black truffles and sprout leaves, Speck wrapped Cod with Tarbais bean garbure and white wine-cockle emulsion, and Vanilla Crème Brulee. Available Sunday through Thursday.

Stateside (1536 EPA) – First course options include Veal Terrine with maitake, and Parsnip Soup with coconut, shrimp and lemongrass. For dessert, the offerings are Whipped Yogurt with cashew granola, and a Funnel Cake, served with malted milk chocolate and salted caramel. Add $17 or $30 for a half-dozen or a full dozen for fresh oysters. Available Sunday through Friday.
