How about free cupcakes for your lunch?
City of Hope Philadelphia, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Let Them Eat Cake event, is offering a preview at the Shops at Liberty Place through March 27.
The Rotunda will be filled with fantasy cakes from past years created by The Merion and The Art Institute.
Wednesday and Thursday at noon, cupcakes will be offered, first come, first served.
The main event, Let Them Eat Cake: Fantasy Weddings, will be 6 p.m. Monday, April 7, at the DoubleTree Hilton.
Let Them Eat Cake is the Northeast’s largest wedding cake competition, and a signature benefit for City of Hope. All proceeds will help City of Hope help cut out cancer, HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses.
