Dick Vermeil promotes his wine in Exton

Drink away your Chip Kelly sorrows with a winning coach's wine.

On Friday, Oct. 9, Dick Vermeil is coming back to Pennsylvania. Not to coach (sorry Eagles fans), but to promote his signature fermented grapes at the Fine Wine and Good Spirits Premium Collection Store (275 Main St.) in Exton.

From 4 to 6 p.m., guests can sample a tasting of Vermeil XXXIV Red Blend ($29.99) and Vermeil Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 ($79.99).

Vermeil wines are produced in his hometown, Calistoga, Calif.

Each purchaser will receive an autographed bottle from the former coach.
