DiBruno Bros. is set to host a daylong "Fall Cheese Crawl" this month that will take attendees to all five of the cheesemonger's Philly-area locations before culminating in — what else? — an Italian Market block party.

Beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17, crawlers will be treated to snacks and samples from spots like 1732 Meats and Weckerly's Ice Cream, as well as wine and cider pairings, and, of course, cheese galore. Tickets for the event run $20, and are available now.

Attendees can begin their tour at any of DiBruno's locations — except for the storefront in the Italian Market, which is where all groups will meet to conclude the tour. After the initial stop, crawlers will be encouraged to check out the other DiBruno Bros. locations for further samples and pairings.

At each location they attend, crawlers will receive a stamp on a provided map, which can be later redeemed for up to two food and drink items at the Italian Market block party.

That block party, meanwhile, runs 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., offering everything from cheese-themed Quizzo hosted by Johnny Goodtimes to live music from Atley Moon & The Say Something Sound Machine. Dishes at the block party, however, will be pay-as-you-go, minus the two that attendees can receive via the provided map.

If that's not enough, though, you'll also get the chance to throw a cream pie at third-generation owner Emilio Mignucci, a bonafide DiBruno.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Drexel University Center for Hospitality & Sports Management endowment fund. More information is available here.
