Can Anyone Really Watch This Ape Gymnast and Deny Evolution?

Can Anyone Really Watch This Ape Gymnast and Deny Evolution?

This adorable video is going around on YouTube. It’s labeled as a monkey attacking a man, though I thought the acrobatic act was much more impressive than the “attack”. The little guy doesn’t have a tail, making him an ape of some kind, rather than a monkey.

It’s interesting that 99% of humans couldn’t even think about doing those impressive circles, but our species has hardly lost its potential for feats of acrobatic excellence, as this second video shows. With training and the right body type, humans can swing like the best of them.
