Police have identified a man shot to death in Strawberry Mansion early Saturday morning as a 38-year-old who lived about three blocks from where he was killed.

Police have identified a man shot to death in Strawberry Mansion early Saturday morning as a 38-year-old who lived about three blocks from where he was killed.

Police found Jason Conley about 12:45 a.m. that night suffering from gunshot wounds to the head, chest and buttocks on Oakdale Street near 29th. Conley later died at Temple University Hospital. No motive or suspect has been determined in the shooting.

Court records show that Conley, who lived on Dover Street near Lehigh, a few blocks from where he was shot, has been arrested numerous times on charges ranging from assault to burglary since 2000. He pleaded guilty to burglary in 2013 and was sentenced to 11.5 to 23 months' probation.
