Woman shot in Kensington, hospitalized in stable condition

A woman was taken to Temple University Hospital after she was shot on Hartville Street, near Clearfield, in Kensington shortly after 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Officials said that  the victim, whose name has not yet been released, may have been in an argument with another woman on the street before she was shot.

Police are still investigating the incident, and were not able to provide a description of the suspect early Thursday morning.

The woman who was shot suffered a graze wound near her ear and was taken to the hospital in stable condition, officials said.
