A West Philadelphia man who police say drove the shooter to a gun slaying Sunday in West Philly has been charged with murder.

A West Philadelphia man who police say drove the shooter to a gun slaying Sunday in West Philly has been charged with murder.

Police found Markland Jones, 26, collapsed with multiple gunshot wounds just before 6 p.m. on 50th Street near Market, police said. Jones died 15 minutes later after at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Septa police officers saw Shakeal Johnson, 20. of 56th Street near Pine, running from the murder scene after the shooting, police said. He ran into a home on Sansom Street near 51st without the homeowner's permission, and police caught him there. He was jailed without bail on charges of murder, robbery and related offenses.

Police are still seeking the triggerman. The motive was listed as robbery.
