Victim in West Oak Lane murder identified

The man shot to death inside a car in West Oak Lane early Wednesday morning was identified Thursday as Christopher Parker.

Parker, 32, lived on Sommers Road near 74th Avenue, a little less than a mile from where he was killed, police said. Investigators said the man was shot several times inside a 1995 Mercury Sable on 15th Street near Haines around 12:30 a.m. He was pronounced dead there at 12:55 a.m.

Police have not reported any motive or suspects in Parker's killing.
