Three men wanted in East Germantown robbery

Police are searching for three men who robbed a man at gunpoint in East Germantown Wednesday morning.

The robbery unfolded around 5:15 a.m. on Chew Avenue near Chelten, police said. The victim was standing on the corner waiting for a bus when three men approached and demanded his belongings.

The suspects are described as three black men in their early 20s. Police said they are all about 5 feet 8 inches tall.

One was wearing a black fitted hat, a dark vest, camouflage pants and was carrying a gray handgun. The second suspect was wearing a black skull cap and all black clothing. The third suspect was wearing dark hooded sweater.
