Store clerk shot in shoulder

A 56-year-old employee of Rodriguez Grocery, at Gratz and Norris streets in North Philadelphia, is in stable condition tonight after suffering a gunshot wound to his right shoulder during a robbery, police said.

A 56-year-old employee of Rodriguez Grocery, at Gratz and Norris streets in North Philadelphia, is in stable condition tonight after suffering a gunshot wound to his right shoulder during a robbery, police said.

The victim was transported to Temple University Hospital following the shooting at 7:45 p.m., and no arrests were made, police said. It was unclear whether anything was taken during the robbery, and the police did not have any suspects.
