Police arrested a grocery store clerk after he allegedly molested a 14-year-old girl inside the North Philadelphia corner store where he worked.

Eliazar Polanco, 37, of Mascher Street near Lehigh Avenue in Fairhill, was charged with corruption of minors, indecent assault and unlawful contact with a minor for the Monday incident inside the store on 18th Street at Huntingdon. The girl told police the employee indecently assaulted her, and investigators discovered that the store's surveillance cameras had recorded the 9:08 a.m. incident, police said.

The girl's family told NBC-10 that she's from Lancaster and was in Philly visiting her aunt. Polanco followed her to a refrigerated case, got on his knees to look up her skirt and then put his hand up her skirt, they said.
