School bus accident injures driver, student

A school bus driver and a 6-year-old bus passenger suffered minor injuries when the bus rear-ended a pickup truck stopped at a red light this morning on Roosevelt Boulevard in Bustleton.

The accident happened about 8 a.m. in the northbound outer lanes at Goodnaw Street. Two bus attendants and seven students weren't injured (although five juveniles were taken to Aria Hospital's Torresdale campus for evaluation. One student and the bus driver complained of pain and were taken to Aria for treatment.
