Police are seeking the public’s help in nabbing an armed thief who robbed a Mayfair 7-11 store last month, fleeing the scene with cash.

From Daily News reporter Regina Medina:

Police are seeking the public's help in nabbing an armed thief who robbed a Mayfair 7-11 store last month, fleeing the scene with cash.

The sticky-fingered suspect walked into the 7-11, on Frankford Avenue near Levick Street, around 2:30 a.m. on May 7, and walked behind the counter, police said. He pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun, aimed at the store clerk and demanded money.

The employee opened the cash register and the thief stole about $200 in cash. The unknown suspect then ran out of the store, running eastbound on Levick.

He is described as an African-American male, between 30 and 35 years old, about 5-feet-9 and weighing 150 lbs. He has a thin build, was wearing a black hoody and is armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.
