Omar Lewis, 38, who's also known as Maurice Lewis,of Darby, is wanted to face homicide charges in the April 5 death of Andrea Roberts, 36, police said. Officers found Roberts unresponsive in a bedroom with a bruised head after a man visited the 12th police district in Southwest Philadelphia just before midnight and told officers he'd received a voicemail from someone telling him Roberts was dead inside her apartment on Willows Avenue near 56th Street, police said. Paramedics declared her dead on the scene a half hour later.
Lewis, of the 200 block of Ninth Street, Darby, is a Jamaican national known to frequent West Philly and Upper Darby, police said.
