Men hospitalized in Point Breeze, E. Germantown shootings

A 20-year-old man was shot in his left forearm around 5:55 p.m. on Latona Street near 22nd in Point Breeze.

He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and was listed in stable condition, police said.

A description of the suspect and information on the shooter's motive was not immediately available.

A 31-year-old man was shot once in his stomach and twice in his left leg by a masked man on Wister Street near Lena about 6:20 p.m., said Officer Christine O'Brien, a police spokeswoman.

The man was taken to the Albert Einstein Medical Center, and police were unsure of his condition as of 7:40 p.m.

A description of the suspect was not immediately available.

No arrests were made.
