A woman injured in a rollover wreck on Interstate 495 in Wilmington this morning has been cited for careless driving and driving without insurance on the ice-slickened highway.

Rashanda C. Smith, 28, of Claymont, Del., was allegedly speeding south on I-496 south of Terminal Avenue about 7:50 a.m. when her 2007 Ford Freestyle rammed the center cement barrier, overturned, sailed across the southbound lanes onto the shoulder and hit the guardrail, landing upright, according to Delaware State Police.

Paramedics took Smith to Christiana Hospital for treatment of injuries that don't appear to be life-threatening, police said. Troopers closed a right southbound lane for a half-hour to clear the crash.
