Police are searching for a suspect in connection with a shooting in Feltonville that left a man hospitalized with a bullet wound to his arm and back.

The 21-year-old victim was sitting on a porch on 4th Street near Roosevelt Boulevard at about 10 p.m. when a man wearing a blue button down shirt, jeans and a yellow Polo hat walked up and shot him, police said.

The man was shot once in the back of his left arm, and the bullet traveled into his back police Chief Inspector Scott Small said.

Medics rushed the man to the Albert Einstein Medical Center, and Small said the victim was listed in stable condition as of 11 p.m.

Small said the suspect was likely in his 20s, but added that the victim was hesitant to provide police with information on why the man may have shot him.

There were no arrests made.
