Police have identified a 36-year-old man shot to death in broad daylight in Fairhill Sunday afternoon as Raymond Perez.

Perez, of Emerald Street near Dauphin in Kensington, was shot several times at 5th and Cambria streets just after 3:30 p.m., police said. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:03 p.m.

Police have not made any arrests or released a motive in the shooting.

Perez was one of two men shot to death Sunday. Two men were shot – one fatally – on Ontario Street near F in Kensington around 6 p.m. In that shooting, an unidentified man in his mid-20s to early 30s died of a gunshot wound to the torso at the scene, police said. A second victim, age 22, was in critical condition at Temple University Hospital being treated for gunshot wounds to his chest and arm. Police reported no arrests in that shooting.
