Police are investigating a Monday afternoon shooting in Hunting Park that left a man in critical condition.

Police are investigating a Monday afternoon shooting in Hunting Park that left a man in critical condition.

An unidentified gunman opened fire on Marshall Street near Luzerne just after 3:30 p.m., wounding a 30-year-old man twice in the chest, police said. The shooter is described as a black man who wore a blue shirt and jeans, and was last seen running west on Luzerne toward 9th Street.

Medics rushed the victim to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
