A 23-year-old man is in critical condition after cops say he was shot in the head in Hunting Park.

Chief Inspector Scott Small said the man was not far from home when he was shot on 8th Street near Luzerne just before 7:30 p.m. He was taken to Temple University Hospital in extremely critical condition, police said. At least one of the 15 bullets fired at the man, according to Small, hit him in the head.

The victim's 20-year-old brother later showed up at Temple University Hospital's emergency room with a graze wound to the right thigh, cops said. He was listed in stable condition, and investigators said he was uncooperative.

The shooting remained under investigation Monday night, and cops reported no arrests.
