A man found dead at a construction site this morning in Bustleton appears to have been shot in the head, police said.

A man found dead at a construction site this morning in Bustleton appears to have been shot in the head, police said.

Construction workers made the gruesome discovery about 7:20 a.m. on Northeast Boulevard near Serota Place, said Officer Jillian Russell, a police spokeswoman. The man, who remains unidentified, was declared dead at the scene at 7:30 a.m.

The site is home of the former Black Red White furniture store and sits across the street from George Washington High School's ball fields.
