Another woman found dead in Kensington

A partially nude woman was found dead in a weeded lot in a desolate alley i on Tusculum Street near Front in Kensington tonight.

Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey described the woman's death as "very, very suspicious" and said that the task force investigating the murders and chokings linked to the Kensington Strangler is investigating this incident.

He added that there is concern that the woman's death could possibly be related to the Kensington Strangler, and that the crime scene will be held by police until tomorrow.

He said an anonymous tipster called 9-1-1 at 5:05 p.m. after discovering the woman in the lot. Ramsey said investigators don't yet know how the woman, who appeared to be in her 20s, died.

He said it was unclear if the woman went to the lot willingly, if she was there there, or whether she was there to use drugs.

More will be known about the manner of the woman's death after an autopsy is performed.
