Naked jogger nabbed in Radnor

A jogger in Radnor yesterday afternoon gave a whole new meaning to the phrase naked ambition.

Around 4:15 p.m., Radnor police started receiving 911 calls about a man who was running stark naked along Church Road, said Lt. Andy Block.

When police responded they found the 30-something man completely nude and running down the road without shoes on, said Block.

The man, who has not been identified by police, was brought to Radnor headquarters where he was conscious but not responsive to officer's questions, Block said. He was subsequently taken to Bryn Mawr Hospital for evaluation. Police are still awaiting test results to determine what inspired the dude to run nude.

"We don't know if he was under the influence, if this was a medical emergency or if this was a psychiatric emergency," Block said.

This reminds me of a story I did in 2009 about a man who was caught running naked along the narrow shoulder of the Schuylkill Expressway.

When he later contacted me with about the story, I found him to be rather teste.
