Sixers top Nets in ninth-place
ORLANDO – The 76ers defeated the Brooklyn Nets, 89-86, in the Orlando Pro Summer League ninth-place game on Friday in the Amway Center practice gym.
The Sixers finished the tourney with a 1-4 record.
Combo guard Khalif Wyatt finished with a game-high 27 points. The former Temple guard made three of four three-pointers and hit 12 of 14 foul shots. Rodney Williams added 13 points.
Mason Plumlee and Chris Wright scored 23 points apiece to lead the Nets (0-5). Brookyln played with only six players.
