Sixers hire Chris Heck as CRO

The 76ers announced that Chris Heck has been hired as the franchise's chief revenue officer on Monday.

The Villanova graduate was recently the president of business operations for the New York Red Bulls of Major League Soccer. He will be in charge of revenue growth regarding corporate partnerships and ticket sales.

"I am thrilled to have Chris join us at the Sixers as we continue to build and grow this organization," Sixers chief executive officer Scott O'Neil said in a press release."Chris brings a wealth of experience and tremendous relationships to the team, and has worked in-market with the Philadelphia Eagles and Comcast-Spectacor – a background that is invaluable in his new role. Having Chris here instantly raises the ceiling for our business potential in the coming years."

Heck worked for the NBA for seven years after a stint as the vice president for Villanova Sports Properties. He also spent time working for the Miami Heat in addition to the Eagles.
