Bledsoe says Kentucky would definitely beat Sixers

Now this is some  serious bulletin-board material in the days leading up to Friday's 76ers vs. Phoenix Suns game at Wells Fargo Center.

Suns guard Eric Bledsoe, a former Kentucky standout, said Wednesday morning  on 'The Starting Lineup' on SiriusXM NBA Radio that his alma mater would beat the Sixers in five games of seven-game series.  His response came after co-host Brian Geltzeiler asked how this team compared to the 0-10 Sixers.  Malik Rose, a Comcast SportsNet analyst who covers the Sixers, is the other co-host.

Here's the dialogue:

Brian Geltzeiler:  "Kentucky last night made mincemeat out of Kansas and looks to be a college team for the ages.  [If] we put Kentucky on the floor against this version of the Philadelphia 76ers in a seven game series, who are you taking and how many games?"

Eric Bledsoe:  "I'm definitely taking Kentucky. … I think Philly will probably get maybe one game."

Malik Rose: "You know you just made every bulletin board in the Philadelphia region, man!"

Bledsoe:  "I know they're going to be mad but [I] love my Wildcats.  Even though Philly's got one Wildcat [center Nerlens Noel] on the team."
