"Best" and "Worst" awards: Sixers vs. Pistons
AUBURN HILLS– This is my look at some of the best and worst performances from the Detroit Pistons' 107-89 victory over the 76ers at The Palace of Auburns Hills on Saturday.
Best performance: Kyle Singler wins this award after making a career-best six three-pointers en route to finishing with a game-high 20 points. He shot 7-for-12 overall and attempted eight three-pointers.
Worst performance: I couldn't avoid giving this award to K.J. McDaniels. The Sixers shooting guard had an off night, making just 2 of 10 shots en route to finishing with four points. He also committed three turnovers.
Best defensive performance: This goes to Andre Drummond. The Pistons center had a game-high three blocked shots. The rookie also finished with eight points and 15 rebounds – eight defensive.
Best performance in by a Sixer: This was an easy one. Henry Sims was a beast, finishing with 12 points and 10 rebounds. He made 5 of 6 shots.
Worst statistic: This award goes to the Sixers' three-point shooting. They only made 7-for-28 ( 25 percent).
Best statistic: This award goes to the Pistons' three-pointers. They had 15 of 35 (42.9 percent)
Worst of the Worst: This goes to the Sixers' turnovers translating into Pistons scoring opportunity. The Pistons turned the Sixers' 22 turnovers into 30 points..
