Are Sixers interested in Quincy Douby?

Are the 76ers interested in Quincy Douby?

Very much so, according to SportsNet New York.  It reported that the former first-round pick will work out for the Sixers later this month. SportsNet New York also reported that the 29-year-old will work out for the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers.

The 6-foot-3 guard out of Rutgers was an NBA failure before becoming a star overseas.

Douby was selected by the Sacramento Kings with the 19th overall pick of the 2006 NBA draft. He averaged 4.1 points, 1.1 rebounds  and just 10.7 minutes over a four-year career with the Kings and Toronto Raptors.

The Brooklyn native has played professionally overseas after being released by the Raptors on Nov. 12, 2009.  He averaged 31.6 points this past season for the Zhejiang Golden Bulls of the Chinese Basketball Association. Douby scored  75 points on Jan. 2  to set CBA record.
