Tuesday's DN: Labor Day Crowd Boos Nutter

Mayor Nutter, accustomed to friendly crowds at the city's annual Labor Day parade, finds a different mood out there as the city's budget is stuck in Harrisburg and municipal unions wait for a new contract.  Attendance at the annual event drops a bit due to the troubled economy.

The Republican party leadership in Philadelphia shows the door to its judicial candidates in the general election, giving Democrats a free ride on the ballot.
