John Dougherty mum on amount spent to slam David Oh

John Dougherty, leader of Local 98 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers arrived and was greeted by two City Council candidates he backed, union political director Bobby Henon and Mark Squilla, who is running unopposed in the 1st Council District.

Dougherty said he didn't know any specific numbers when we asked about a rumor that a Local 98 political action committee, Philadelphia Phuture, was spending in the neighborhood of $100,000 in mailers, radio ads and robo-calls to oppose Republican Council at-large candidate David Oh.

You can read more about all that here.

"I have an interest in the race," said Dougherty. Local 98 is backing Republican Joe McColgan in that race.
