Friday's DN: A gun rumor at the City Controller's Office prompts questions from police

It's Friday, so its Clout column time.  This week, City Controller Alan Butkovitz asks the Philadelphia Police Department to check out a gun rumor about a former employee who has posted a web site critical of his work.  Also, USA Today calls Gov. Corbett "Gov. Barney Fife" for his federal lawsuit to overturn the $60 million Penn State fine issued by the NCAA.

Former Gov. Ed Rendell calls on local members of the U.S. Congress to state their positions on gun control measures as he says the nation "can't forget and go back to business as usual in which the NRA and the powerful gun lobby control Congress.
