Philadelphia, Sept. 13, 2012 – Council President Darrell L. Clarke today announced Philadelphia City Council Chambers and Caucus Room are now WiFi accessible.
“The availability of free and open WiFi on the 4th floor of City Hall is overdue,” Council President Clarke said. “I encourage members of the visiting public, particularly those who attend City Council meetings and hearings, to take advantage of this service.”
The CityCouncilnetwork is accessible via wireless device to anyone in City Council Chambers (Room 400) or in the Caucus Room.
“As City Council this fiscal year debates legislation affecting the quality of life, economic prosperity, and safety of the citizens of Philadelphia, I encourage members of the public to utilize Council’s online legislative information center (http://legislation.phila.gov) and other resources in real time,” Council President Clarke said.
