Film fest a boost for land, water

For the fifth year in a row, Trail Creek Outfitters is hosting a film-oriented fund-raiser to benefit two area, environmental nonprofits: the Stroud Water Research Center and the Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County.

For the fifth year in a row, Trail Creek Outfitters is hosting a film-oriented fund-raiser to benefit two area, environmental nonprofits: the Stroud Water Research Center and the Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County.

The Wild and Scenic Film Festival will be held Feb. 22 and Feb. 23 at the Chester County Historical Society from 6:30 to 9 p.m. A different set of award-winning animations, documentaries, and independent films will be shown each night beginning at 7:30.


Tickets, which must be purchased in advance, include light fare and beverages. The cost is $25 per night, or $40 for both nights. Tickets are available at Trail Creek Outfitters in the Glen Eagle Shopping Center on Rt. 202 in Glen Mills (610-558-4006) or online at www.trailcreekoutfitters.com.
