After multiple, marathon bargaining sessions over the last two weeks, the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District announced last night that it had reached a tentative agreement with the Unionville Chadds Ford Education Association.

Teachers have been working without a contract in the district for 18 months. Terms of the tentative pact will not be announced until both sides have voted, a district news release said. The board will vote at a special or regular meeting following a vote of the general membership of the teachers' union, the release said.
