Nearly a Ton of Veggies Are Picked in Burlco to Donate to the Hungry

Volunteers picked nearly a ton of green veggies at a Burlco farm on Thursday to donate to a food pantry. The state Secretary of Agriculture helped out, while announcing the agency expects to give a $100,000 state grant to Farmers Against Hunger, which distributes surplus produce to the needy.
