Which Phillies in camp have played first base?
Since Ryan Howard will be out for a while (we say "Heal up good, big guy, and see you after the All-Star Break"), it will be interesting to see who plays first base until he is able to return and fills in for him as he eases back into the lineup.
We found nine players among the Phillies' 40-man roster (and one non-roster invitee to spring training) that have manned bag No. 1 in regular-season major league games.
Pretty cool (at least to us) that Chase Utley's number of games at first matches his uniform number ... and that Brian Schneider's number of games at first matches the number of no-hitters he is going to catch in 2012.
