Flyers Finally Allow An Even-Strength Goal

The Flyers finally allowed an even-strength goal.

When Henrik Sedin scored for the Canucks in the second period Wednesday night, it was the first even-strength goal allowed by the Flyers this season. The 146:41 of playing time was the third longest the Flyers had ever gone into a campaign without allowing one.

Only once (1995) have they made it through the first three games of this season unscathed. That season, the Mighty Ducks finaly netted one 7:59 into the third period of Game 6. They then scored another just 30 seconds later.
