You people sound like an angry mob. Y'all ever tried to get work after an arrest, even if charges were later dismissed? It ain't easy. The man was a first-time offender and he's paid a very high price. Chill out.

I've heard people say they're tossing their season tickets, burning their Eagles jerseys. The bottom line is, no one is going to do anything like that. Just like fans didn't stop rooting for the Phillies after Brett Myers beat his wife in Boston or people didn't trash their Flyers sweaters after they signed Billy Tibbits. Look, don't get me wrong: Michael Vick is a turd (and not a very good QB), and the Eagles made a move that has more potential risk than reward. I just think people are overreacting.

I love it how everyone is so against Micheal Vick signing because of the crime he commited yet the adore Ray Lewis who literally walked away from a murder rap and is going into the HOF someday. Society needs to take a good hard look at themselves. Bob you are a joke!

Keep Marvin Harrison away from the Linc. I think this signing is great because if he does well as a QB, Minn, SF, Cle, etc. will be throwing a coupla draft picks this way. If he stinks, its a 1-year deal (and forget the money-we're wayyyy under the cap). Funny how we scream "they're cheap" "they're not agressive or committed to winning," and then cry "they gave him too much money" or "he's talented, but we don't like his past." I sometimes think I am in the minority in being excited for our teams when they go out on a limb. I think I will reserve judgement about the signing, and draw up plays with DMac, Westbrook, and Vick in the backfield; DJax, McCoy and Maclin split out in my mind. Or a hundred different variations of that. Wildcat? Yeah. New plays that the league will attemp to mimic? That would be sweet.

Tampa girl..Philly fans? They are more like gangs. Noted for being the worst fans in the league. Vick belongs in Philly.

Psst...ladies and gentilmen...wait and see...Vick ain't done yet committ'en crimes. Yeah, he's got the best help and mentors money can buy, but he's still a phycopath. Boo John Law...give a man a chance...he paid his debt. I softly respond..."go tell it to the 'dogs'". You just don't "trip", the first and only time, from the straight and narrow path by hanging and electrocuting large anaimals. And then you have those "thousand yard stair eyes"...sorry...we'll be reading about Vick again and it won't be in the sports section. I feel sorry for Vick's Parole Officer. Vick's PO better get busy right now letting our newest Eagle know that he will be "Supervised" and held strictly accountable for his actions. Vick's got the money, the lawyers, the Spin Doctors and juice to make the P.O's job tough. I don't think this will turn out well :-( . Mark my words...Vick ain't done yet committing violent crimes.

I would have loved to see the reaction if Vick signed with the Giants or Boys to use in a wildcat role. The Philly media would have been throwing the cheap skates out on the Eagles..... If they aint complaining about something they aint happy.....

For everyone who thinks what Michael Vick did is ok - tell me this...if a child molester was released from prison and said he was sorry and expressed remorse. Would you let him babysit your kids? I think not. It's time to get the felons out of the NFL. It's that simple. They should not be allowed in professional sports. PERIOD!

I agree mm brown and John Law, Karma is round the corner. There is man law and spirit law, the spirits are shouting out and if Vick goes on the field it will not be for long. I would like to think he is genuine but he has been attending dog fights since the age of 8. I dont know about you but I have been attacked by a dog and would have died had my brother not been there to save me. I was extremely lucky, the dog was our dog who had been abused and unfortunately it made him psycho. He was being naughty and I tapped his nose (lightly) and he flipped, his eyes rolled up and all you could see was the white of his eyes. He bit my hand and caused an aneurism, he jumped up and bit my arm, I screamed only once and soon shut up as it made him worse, he ragged my arm and somehow I ended up on the floor. He jumped on my back and I could feel his hot breath on the back of my head. I thought this is it, I am going to die I was 18 expecting a bite to the back of my head any second. My brother was upstairs and ran down and pulled him off. You think you will do this do that, kick here, kick there but it was impossible. Why am I telling you this you wonder. For two reasons, the first is that this dog was made this way from ill treatment. When we got him he was so think his back end did not touch the floor. He did not know how to play, we had to teach him and he had cigarette burns all over his body. The same dog slept in my bed, sat on my knee, let me put my arm in his mouth and was very protective. I thought my tears would never end as he was led away to be put to sleep. The second is that I know what it feels like to be bitten by a dog and to die in this way is certainly not funny - I will have to continue this in another entry running out of characters lol
