Comment removed.- haha nicely said.
No how, no way and when it comes to Reid...NO CLUE!! The only way this team gets better is when the bumbling idiot of a head coach leaves!!!! Daddio- Stubborn arrogance and zero accountability does not equal evolution. This means we are destined to stay in this incredibly frustrating cycle till he leaves. And please, before the Reid sheep get on here and start with the "winninest coach in eagles history...." He still hasn't won anything that puts a trophy in the case, and that's what this is about
Bob.....you're ready for 60 more years of Reid? At least you are learning to lay it on as thick as the stubborn man. Voytas- In "Groundhog Day", Bill Murray did many many things as he lived in his perpetual day. But he never won a Super Bowl either.
Bring Back Rich Kotite and watch him force Mike Vick to play in his system! Let Ray Rhodes run the draft, maybe he can use that 24th overall pick on another DE from Virginia who doesn't even start in college. Or trade up for another Mike Mamula. Lurie should sell the team back to Braman so he can run off all the good players. mets_collapse_is_funny_to_me
Let's see, Green Bay beat the Eagles by 5 (we were 27 yards from winning TD), beat ATL by 27, beat CHI by 7 and beat the Steelers by 6. Who was the closest to beating GB in the playoffs this year??? WE WERE!!! So, YES, we are close to the Super Bowl. Please, all you Negadelphians crawl back to your dark, dank holes (i.e. your parents' basements) and don't come out until there's a new CBA. Thank you, that is all. shmu65
BOB FORD- Its obvious they interviewed one of Reids, lap dogs. Give me a break, weak, weak weak,,, spot writing about the eagles and keep writing for the EAGLES RAM1162- Bob Ford must be AR's ditch. The questioner knew exactly what is going on. Ford didn't have the eggs to say it. There is no reason to think the Eagles will be any different than they have been. No linebackers, will not run the ball, will throw the ball too much, and won't get off the field on 3rd and long. No shot at a super bowl. Staying close to the eventual winner does not count!
- Got to disagree with some of y'all don't often see Bob Ford with much of a positive or fair report related to Andy every now and he has some balance and fairness to his report...Though not often hahahaha.
Live it up Eagle fans. Ford captures the Eagle's mindset- he thinks winning the Super Bowl is a crapshoot or like winning the lottery. According to them, you just show up for the games and wait for your turn. How many times have you heard this in post Superbowl interviews "well Terry, we didn't really do or expect anything special. I guess it was just our year and things went our way. It kind of just fell in our lap?" jtj06
You never know in the NFL. Things look one way in February, another in August, and another in December. With the right draft picks, the Eagles could raise their game up by 2012. Question is, is the brass astute enough to do what the Packers have done -- get guys like Matthews and Rogers around #24 in the first round? About 23 teams passed on these two guys, arguably the best this year at their positions. Are we going to be the team that drafts this intelligently in rounds one and two? If the answer is "yes," then yes we have a shot. We already know that Roseman can find the Jamar Chaneys and Austin Howards, and that gives the kind of depth you have to have these days with serious injuries every week. Any team that is real smart between picks #20 and #60 is going to tend to lead the league. Just ask the Patriots -- that's where they try to stockpile their picks, instead of in the fifth round as Howie does. armchairGM
