Republican super PAC spending $650K vs. Adler in NJ 3

POSTED: Monday, October 22, 2012, 7:08 AM

A Republican super PAC dedicated to saving the party's House majority is launching a TV ad Monday against Democrat Shelley Adler in the 3rd Congressional District of New Jersey.

The Congressional Leadership Fund says it is spending about $650,000 on broadcast time in the Philadelphia market to hit Adler for voting to approve tax increases as a Cherry Hill councilwoman.

She is challenging first-term Republican Rep. Jon Runyan.

The move comes even though national Democrats earlier this month canceled $2.6 million worth of ads for their challengers in the region, including Adler, as well as Kathy Boockvar, Manan Trivedi and George Badey in Pennsylvania.

That decision by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has been interpreted as an acknowledgement that Runyan, as well as Reps. Michael Fitzpatrick, Jim Gerlach and Patrick Meehan are favored in those races.

The Adler spot uses video from the Burlington County Times editorial board meeting, in which s he appeared  not to recall having voted to raise taxes.

"Voters will remember in November," said Brook Hougesen, a spokeswoman for the CLF, a group founded last year by former Minnesota Sen. Norm Coleman and Republican power broker Fred Malek.

CLF reserved $1.6 million in Philadelphia air time  in July.

Adler doesn't even live in the district. She supports big spending, deficits and no jobs like OBAMA and MENENDEZ

where is her detailed plan to cut the debt?

To — sharkymachine -- you need to read more. Try the Wall Street Journal, for example. Of course, that's assuming you have an open mind. Obama's admin was warned of trouble at Solyndra. They did rush through loans. And there are other green companies having serious problems, also recipients of favored Dem donors. Why would you give more money to a government that is going to bankrupt you? Have they proven worthy managers? Really?
